The consultation takes place over two meetings: the first is an interview and the second is educational. The interview portion consists of a series of questions to determine the client’s Ayurvedic constitution & the nature of any existing imbalances. This meeting is two - three hours.
In the second meeting, the client learns their ayurvedic constitution and the first step of their program. The practitioner gives the client a booklet with information about their constitution and the first part of a 6-8 month program of lifestyle changes that will bring balance to their lives. For example, the program may include ayurvedic food charts, daily routine changes, five sense therapies, exercise programs & recommended therapeutic body work. Each program is unique to each client. Herbal recommendations will be made at this time, if needed. This meeting is one hour.
